A postdoctoral position is available to investigate sensorimotor integration and motor learning in the rodent striatum with the group of Dr. Joshua Dudman at the Janelia Farm Research Campus of Howard Hughes Medical Institute in the Washington, DC area. Our research combines electrophysiological, anatomical and imaging techniques (both in vitro and in vivo) with the goal of understanding how cellular integrative properties influence behavior. Successful candidates will hold a Ph.D. and be committed to the development of new electrophysiological and imaging approaches. Candidates should be prepared to be active collaborators in the technical and intellectual aspects of research within our group and be open to working with other members of the JFRC community. Prior experience with electrophysiology, behavior, and/or computational approaches is strongly preferred.
