About the Lab
We are a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) laboratory located
near Washington DC at the Janelia Farm Research Campus (JFRC). Our
research focuses on understanding how ensembles of neurons in the brain
process and integrate sensory information to enable appropriate motor
responses. We use a combination of experimental and computational
techniques to explore multimodal circuits in the fruit fly brain. Our
lab's goal is to link computation in such circuits to the insect's
adaptive behavioral decisions.
