About the Lab
We are a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) laboratory located
near Washington DC at the Janelia Farm Research Campus (JFRC). Our
research focuses on understanding how networks of neurons
process and integrate sensory information to enable appropriate motor
responses. We use a combination of experimental and computational
techniques to explore multimodal circuits in the Drosophila melanogaster brain. Our
goal is to mechanistically link computation in such circuits to the
insect's
adaptive behavioral decisions.
