About the Lab

Our research combines chemistry, molecular genetics, and electrophysiology to manipulate, map, and monitor the dynamics of neural circuits controlling innate behaviors such as feeding. Our lab´s goal is to identify the circuitry important for these behaviors and to understand how it is modified with experience.

We are part of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and located at the Janelia Farm Research Campus, a unique, world-class research community near Washington, DC.
